What does Ventilated Façade System (VFS) mean?

The Ventilated Façade Systems are part of the external envelope of the buildings. They are designed to allow secure mounting of different façade materials to the building main structure.

Ventilated Façade Systems are based on the principle of natural ventilation, which is achieved through an air gap (4-8 cm) between the cladding materials and the building thermal insulation.

ETEM’s Ventilated Façade Systems, which allows perfect combination of fixing brackets, main supporting profiles and finishing elements, designed under EIS (ETEM INTEGRATED SOLUTION), where maximum stresses and creeps are pre-simulated. In this way the optimal shape of the profiles and accessories is achieved assuring the highest security and reliability of the construction.

The main advantages of the Ventilated Façade Systems are:

  • Fire Resistance
  • Sound Insulation
  • Vapor permeability
  • Waterproof
  • Energy Saving
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Natural Ventilation
  • Fast Mounting and Easy Maintenance

All aluminium elements are 100% recyclable.
